LCT Redevelopment Plan

The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) awarded Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative (TLCI) funds to the Lorain County Board of Commissioners to develop a plan to evaluate Lorain County Transit's current services, funding, and operational model and give recommendations on ways of developing additional market-based, sustainable revenue streams strengthening linkages between employees and employers.

WSP USA, Inc. presented the draft Lorain County Transit Redevelopment Plan during a public hearing held at the Lorain County Board of Commissioners Board Meeting on November 15 at the Lorain County Administration Building, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A second public hearing was held on December 18 at the Lorain County Transportation and Community Center, 40 East Avenue, Elyria.

Lorain County Transit will accept comments on the draft Lorain County Transit (LCT) Redevelopment Plan until January 15, 2018. Comments can be emailed to Lorain County Transit, phone 440-329-5525, or mailed to:
