County leadership, riders of the service, Via and more will join to discuss the current status and future of the service. The roundtable, held at the Lorain County Transportation Center, 40 East Avenue in Elyria, will take place in two sessions: - Session One: Wednesday, March 26 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Session Two: Thursday, March 27 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
“I am incredibly proud to be part of the team that has led Lorain County Transit in a new, successful direction – one that truly benefits both taxpayers and end users,” said Commissioner David Moore. Discussion will include exploration of the path to securing long-term funding to continue running ViaLC beyond the pilot phase. Current ViaLC riders will review how the service has improved access to jobs, healthcare, and daily life.
