Pre-screening of Resumes and Applications

Employers may choose to have resumes pre-screened to their job requirements. Potential candidates may also complete applications at our OhioMeansJobs facility and qualifying resumes will be sent to you.

Recruiting Professionals Both Locally and Nationwide

Connections with other OhioMeansJobs Centers throughout the state allow us to recruit qualified professionals no matter how specialized the position. A resume pool of local job seekers also allows us to recruit from entry-level to highly skilled professional positions.

Free Advertising

Job postings are advertised on OhioMeansJobs.com and shared with numerous community organizations we are partnering with.

On-Site Interview Rooms

Space to conduct interviews is available at our OhioMeansJobs facility. We also provide access to space to assist with other hiring needs (e.g. classrooms for testing, training, etc...).

Mass Recruiting

If you are expanding your current business or opening a new facility, we can provide you with candidates no matter how many you require. Our OhioMeansJobs Center offers an ideal location for recruiting a large number of candidates.

Rapid Response Services

If you are downsizing we can assist by meeting with your workers to explain their options and help them on their way to reemployment. Our team can provide this service at your facility or at our OhioMeansJobs Center.

Information on the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and Welfare-To-Work Tax Credit (WTW), and tax incentives for hiring eligible workers.

Labor market information based on your requirements can be provided.

On-The-Job Training (OJT)

OJT funds are available to assist with offsetting training costs for new and/or existing employees who meet eligibility requirements. OJT contracts are provided for qualified positions for up to a 6-month period and provide reimbursement of one-half of the wage rate you are paying the trainee.  For more information on OJT click here.

Incumbent Worker Training (IWT)

IWT is designed to either assist workers in obtaining the skills necessary to maintain, retain or advance in their employment or to avert layoffs.  The training should benefit workers by making them more qualified in their line of business and/or by providing them with skills for new products or processes.  It is desired that the training results in credentials or industry recognizable skill that promote the worker’s career and increases the overall employability.  For more information on IWT, including eligibility requirements click here.
